Known as the tree of life

Argan oil is extracted from the seeds of the argan tree (Argania Spinosa) also known as the ‘tree of life’. The argan tree grows wild and exclusively in the south-west of Morocco. Between June and August, Berber women collect the ripe fruit that has fallen onto the ground. Then, the fruit is sun-dried, and the nuts are cracked by hand to extract the oil-rich seeds. Finally, the seeds are cold pressed in order to produce the argan oil while retaining a maximum of nutritional goodness. 

Supporting local communities

In order to be an active participant in sustainable development in Morocco, our supplier co-workers have set up a charitable organization ‘Marocavie’ which supports projects that aim to improve the education of children the socio-economic development of women and protect the argan forest. Our Argan Oil is one of the hero ingredients in our No Plastic Shampoo.

HOW TO USE

• Wet hair. 
• Wet the bar and rub it on your hands until it lathers, then massage into your scalp and hair.
• Or rub the bar directly on wet hair. Rinse.

These synthetic ingredients are necessary to ensure the right preservation and high quality in-use performance. Furthermore, our WeDo / Professional line has a specially designed synthetic clean fragrance to keep the level of allergens on an extremely low level.
