Diadermine brand was created in France at the beginning of the 20th century.
Diadermine brand was created in France at the beginning of the 20th century. In 1904, the brothers Giambattista and Cornelio Bonetti bought the patent for Diadermine, a water-in-oil emulsion of very light consistency used by pharmacists to prepare their own ointments and by doctors for cleaning hands and for the face.
With this formula as a base, the Bonetti brothers create a dermatological beauty treatment. Initially, it was only available in pharmacies, but the famous little jar with the aluminum lid was soon to be sold in perfumeries as well. Diadermine is quickly establishing itself as the "medicinal cream" suitable for the whole family and is also very successful as a hand lotion.
